We are proud to announce the Ramon Pajares Scholarship. Our Chief Executive Angela Maher FIH says ‘Supporting the development of hospitality professionals is a key part of the mission of the Savoy Educational Trust. I am delighted to announce that we are funding a new annual scholarship in memory of the late, great Ramon Pajares. Our Grants and Trust Executive, Louise Hewitt had the pleasure of attending the Wave 2 launch of #HospitalityConnect at The Dorchester last night. The event brought together an inspiring mix of London’s educators and employers, with nine exciting collaborations formed, all focused on nurturing and strengthening the crucial talent pipeline within hospitality. We heard insightful speeches from Paul Jervis of Westminster Kingsway and Bryan Grierson of Springboard with the event expertly hosted by Lee Kelly of 45 Park Lane #W1GMA. A special congratulations to Laura Johnson as ever for her remarkable work. Thank you for sharing the wonderful update on The Sheffield College insights study tour. We are thrilled to hear about the incredible experiences the UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year 2024 has had so far, from dining at The Ritz London to exploring Rungis Market and enjoying Parisian hospitality. It’s inspiring to see the team benefit from such enriching opportunities. The Trust are proud to have supported this journey alongside MSK INGREDIENTS LIMITED and look forward to hearing about the final leg of the tour. It’s great to support such a rewarding initiative that nurtures the future of our industry.
