🎉 Celebrating Two Years of the Regional Construction Framework with Jeakins Weir 🎉 Jeakins Weir, an independent construction company based in the Midlands, has been a trusted SCAPE partner, delivering top construction services in the region since 1973. Their commitment to quality is evident in their focus on collaboration, local engagement, and creating social value. In 2023, we proudly unveiled new refreshments and break facilities for the dedicated staff at Kettering General Hospital. This project, requested by the staff themselves, aimed to boost morale and provide facilities that cater to diverse shift patterns. The result? A resounding success that has enhanced staff wellbeing and offered a refreshing space to unwind during breaks. The Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust turned to Jeakins Weir to bring these new facilities to life under the SCAPE Regional Construction framework. Discover more about this collaborative effort here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eikFd3By We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jeakins Weir for their exceptional performance, seamless collaboration, and the remarkable impact they've had on our local communities. #RCFAnniversary #Collaboration #TeamSCAPE

🎉 Celebrating 2 Years of Regional Construction Framework Partnership with G F Tomlinson 🎉 G F Tomlinson is dedicated to transforming the built environment and enriching the lives of people in the local communities we serve, and we take great pride in our partnership with them. Back in January 2020, we teamed up to bring to life a project, a sustainable, mixed-use building in the vibrant heart of Skegness, known as the Tower Gardens Pavilion. This ambitious project, the largest taken on by Skegness Town Council, features a spacious community hall that can be divided into two sections, a community café with comfy seating, and a dedicated office for the Town Council. The Tower Gardens Pavilion was delivered through G F Tomlinson as part of the SCAPE Regional Construction framework for Skegness Town Council. Discover more here and the power of our partnership ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eYhCNF4p We thank G F Tomlinson for their outstanding performance, exceptional collaboration and the incredible difference they have made to our local communities. #RCFAnniversary #Collaboration #TeamSCAPE

The first cohort of students have celebrated the opening of Whipman Woods Flying High Academy, a new net-zero primary academy delivered by our Midlands team for Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC)! Since the September term, pupils have been enjoying their new learning facilities, including six infant and junior classrooms, a nursery, reception, a library, a SEN/therapy room, and a large sports hall that doubles as a dining room. Pupils are also benefiting from outdoor learning spaces, play equipment, a MUGA pitch, and a Sport England-designed playing field. Procured via the SCAPE framework and project managed by Arc Partnership, the Flying High Partnership's new school's opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, captured below in this video by NCC. It has now been a year since I stepped into the role of Deputy Chief Executive at SCAPE. From celebrating our business successes to travelling the UK to meet and collaborate with our fantastic partners and clients, I’ve enjoyed every second. I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey; for being so welcoming and supportive during my first months at SCAPE. I wanted to use this milestone to reflect on the past 12 months, to look forward, because as an industry we have a chance to shape a positive future. #Construction #TeamSCAPE

A sneak peak of what's to come! 🪐🌠 Whilst we don't want to give too much away, we have been lucky enough to get a first glimpse of the 10-meter hemispherical screen in the Planetarium at Sherwood Observatory working in all it's glory! The Planetarium will eventually showcase tours of the solar system and beyond. The team have been busy on the final stretch of works to the internal fit-out of the new Science Discovery Centre in readiness for it's completion very soon. The scheme involves the transformation of a disused underground Victorian reservoir into an education centre for school and group visits. The development will breathe new life into the historic building, which will feature an exhibition hall, classrooms, a café, and meeting rooms, as well as the state-of-the-art planetarium.
