Did you know that adults are advised to engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity weekly to boost brain health and overall wellbeing? Recognising this, our finance department has been championing walk-at-work schemes from our head office in Addlestone. The finance and controlling team organised a fantastic five-mile charity walk around beautiful local landmarks. Meanwhile, the procurement and commercial team seamlessly blended business with pleasure by incorporating a leisurely stroll around Virginia Water, Surrey, into their quarterly meeting, not only boosting their physical activity but also fostering greater team engagement. Both teams chose to fundraise for The Eikon Charity, an organisation dedicated to supporting young people in Surrey through mentoring, guidance and resources, ensuring they have the support they need for a fulfilling life. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making these events such a success. Did you know we’re a Platinum sponsor of this year’s #CTBUH conference?
