🌍 Celebrating International Women’s Day at Schumacher Packaging! 🌍 As a woman at Schumacher Packaging, I feel incredibly proud to work alongside so many talented and hardworking women I started my journey at Schumacher Packaging as an agency worker, not knowing where it would lead. Fast forward, and I’m now the HR Manager, a role I’ve been able to grow into thanks to the incredible support of our directors and leadership team. They’ve not only recognised my potential but have given me the space and trust to thrive, implement change, and make a real impact. - Mary Otun, HR Manager International Women’s Day is a chance to celebrate the amazing contributions of women everywhere—but it’s also a reminder that there’s still work to do. Join us in welcoming Steve Brass. Steve has worked in the Corrugated Industry for the majority of his career, starting off on the shop floor on a Printer Slotter, which gave him a real great understanding about production from the ground up. Steve's career progressed into the Forme Re-Rule Department where he gained more knowledge about what areas of different designs were creating issues for the Die Cutters and on the Cutting Formes. Eventually this path lead him into the Design Department where he fine tuned his skill set with all of the practical knowledge he had gained. Being creative and having a passion for Design has always been a part of Steve’s mind set, both inside and outside of work and he is always looking to create stunning designs. Having a positive team surrounding him will only enhance his creativity bringing fresh ideas and plenty of knowledge to the table. On a personal level Steve has always been a bit of a Petrol Head and is mad about all things to do Cars or Motorbikes and is currently still working on restoring his 1972 VW Beetle (ongoing project, if you know you know) Welcome to the team Steve!
