Providing safe housing with Barnardo’s 💙 Our team recently helped to support the Barnardo's Gap Homes project, providing our popular Valutherm+ timber frame kits to create five units – four Gap Homes with apartments for care leavers and an on-site staff facility. The Gap Homes project aims to support young care leavers amidst the current housing crisis, helping to find and secure suitable housing where young people can focus on their future, without the worry of their living situation. With our parent company Saint-Gobain's dedication to providing affordable, quality social housing, this was a hugely important cause for us to support. After working with our team on a similar project in Clydebank, the Barnardo's team reached out to us once again to help further increase the number of Gap Homes in Scotland. We recently helped the team at luxury self catering home, Hebrides House, to create this stunning build in the equally breathtaking Uig Sands in the Isle of Lewis 🏔 This four king-size bedroom house has been designed to maximise the idyllic views that surround the holiday home, with floor-to-ceiling windows around the property also encouraging light to flood the space. After working closely with their architect, award-winning, Edinburgh-based Groves-Raines Architects Studios, to design the house, our team carefully matched up the plans to one of our timber frame kits, alongside liaising with builders to ensure the installation ran smoothly and to plan. With our industry-leading Valutherm+ system in place, this beautiful holiday home ensures a comfortable temperature, whatever the season. A complex kit made easy with the help of Scotframe and Pasquill. We recently joined forces with our sister company, Pasquill, to create what will be another incredible build high in the hills of Inverness 🏔 These drone shots show the sheer scale of this build, and this project as a whole highlights the many benefits of collaboration alongside our Saint-Gobain Off-Site Solutions brands. New year, new solar panels ☀️ It's been a pleasure watching the development of the Cove Sailing Club project, which is now really starting to take shape, as you can see from these most recent on-site pictures... The new club has been created using our industry-leading Valutherm+ system, providing heightened thermal performance for the club and all its members. From this recent update on the build, there's also been the addition of solar panels, helping to reduce electricity costs alongside their many other benefits, making this a very energy conscious project 👏   We can't wait to see more updates on this build in the coming weeks!
