🏆 West Development Squad Support 🏆 The West of Scotland development squad have been supported through funding from J&E Shepherd to continue training throughout the summer. This support is key in letting all the players to continue developing their skills rather than having to stop during the summer months. “The support given by J&E Shepherd has created an incredible opportunity for our players to come together and hone their skills over the summer before competitions begin in the autumn.” Peter McGuire, boccia coach. Support like this is invaluable in allowing the development of boccia to grow across the country - especially valuable during a Paralympic year. sportscotland #InspiringThroughInclusion #Boccia #Funding #Inclusion #Paralympics

A huge thank you to Shared Care Scotland for providing SDS with funding for this years edition of Summer Camp. The Short Breaks Funding was vital to the successful running of the SDS Summer Camp. It allowed for children and young adults with a disability the opportunity to not only take part in a variety of exciting activities and sports in a safe environment but more significantly, the chance to be independent, develop resilience, make new friendships and lasting memories. Whilst SDS is proud to provide participants with this experience, the Summer Camp also allowed carers and families a 'Short Break'. These breaks provide opportunity for respite and reflection. So, thank you Shared Care Scotland, for all your support ❤️ #ShortBreaksFund #TimeToCare #SummerCamp #ShortBreaks #Inclusion #InspiringThroughInclusion sportscotland
