About us
Scoutess Consultancy is a certified female black and ethnic minority owned business, with a clear vision to provoke action, challenge the recruitment norm and change people lives. We have been doing this every day, partnering with more than 1000 organisations, career coaching and mentoring more than 900 women, whilst placing 2500 talented candidates into technical and leadership roles. Our mission is to accelerate the careers of those most underrepresented, which is why we focus on Black and Minority Ethnic women. Over the past 14 months, we have seen 60% of the candidates we place thrive at work, getting promoted within their first 6 months. Working with our clients and mentoring our candidates, enables us to help create a workplace that respects, values, and recognises the achievements of Black and ME women. Our continued success has enabled us to achieve 100% retention across our senior leadership hires, retaining 99% of our clients, whilst scoring 99% for our partnering services for our candidates. We do not have ego’s, but we are proud of these numbers, as we know the impact our talented candidates are making on a personal, workplace and economic level. Last week our Founder Karen Orton spent a very special day with the Managers at Rapport Guest Services, talking about "Leading with DEI in Mind". Sharing stories and insights, whilst facilitating discussions from "why differences divide, to having courageous conversations". The room was filled with commitment, hope and honesty for the continued journey that the Inspire Programme offers Rapports Leadership teams. To have their MD and senior HQ team with us, spoke volumes. "The wealth of cultures in the room was fascinating, allowing us to have rich discussion, as we talked about what DEI meant to them, how to foster inclusion and become an Upstander. Embedding a culture that is inclusive was the purpose of the day, one that will be a continual but I know powerful journey for these Manager", said Karen.
