Leaders – sign up now for a free online session which will give you everything you need to know to run the ScoutsCymru Democracy Challenge Badge. The 90-minute interactive session will be filled with practical advice on integrating democracy into your meetings as well as ideas for activities to help young people aged four to 18 to meet the requirements of the badge. We have three sessions taking place on 26 November, 29 January and 13 March. Find out more and book online here. https://lnkd.in/e3gfBQ9B

The Youth Members Survey is a chance for young people to shape Scouting strategy. Open to all youth members from four to 24, it will help find out what young people want to be included and prioritised at Scouts over the next 10 years. It’s the first survey of its kind for Scouts UK and will put even more young people at the heart of decision-making. With our ‘Skills for Life’ strategy ending in December 2025, we want young people to help us explore what we should focus on in the future. Are you ready for Scouts’ new digital system? The Scouts volunteer experience is changing and with it comes a brand new digital system. In preparation for this, Compass, our current system, will go offline permanently on Thursday 7 November while we migrate to the new system To ensure things are in place for the new system and the transition to the improved volunteer experience, there are a few things you need to do: - Make sure you have a unique and personal email address recorded on Compass. Without this, you won’t have a username for the new digital system. - Make sure your learning is up to date and validated on Compass. - Make sure you and your team are ready for the new ways of volunteering and how team structures and roles will change. You can find out about these changes and learn more about the new volunteer experience on the Scouts website. https://lnkd.in/egDFpnUY
