CAD design of the enclosure (customisable) for our Vital Signs and Sleep Monitoring sensor. This device, deployed above the bed, is capable of capturing vital signs data such as heartbeat and respiratory rate, body movement, bed occupancy (and hence, detects bed falls), and provides an estimate of sleeping pattern and quality. This device promises to be a game changer for care homes and assisted living for elderly people extending their independence in their own homes. We are now the proud owners of a Sonata Board, which we just received. The Sonata Board is an Open Source innovative incarnation of the CHERI initiative, where security is placed at the heart of hardware design. Funded by Innovate UK, and developed by lowRISC CIC with the invaluable participation of the University of Cambridge, this Raspberry PI sized board promises to revolutionise edge computing and the cybersecurity landscape. Sensor IT, as a participant in the Digital Security by Design (DSbD) programme, has been awarded one of this coveted prototypes to help testing it. Overall, IoT NTN 5G has the potential to revolutionize IoT communication in non-terrestrial networks by providing high-speed, low-latency, and highly reliable connectivity to support a wide range of applications in IoT smart verticals, such as agriculture and assets tracking. Quectel have always been amongst our preferred modules to use in our products. Aside the fact they have supported and believed in a startup like us since minute one, their technology is second to none.
