The single-largest city redevelopment scheme in decades formally opens in Preston during Thursday afternoon. Animate includes The Arc Cinema, which Nick Park will cut the ribbon on this afternoon, plus bowling and restaurants across the complex running alongside the Market Hall on the site of the city's former Indoor Market. Taco Bell will also open its doors during Thursday morning - the second Animate complex chain restaurant to open.
