Yesterday, our engagement committee arranged Sertec’s ‘wear green’ day and we would like to thank everybody who got involved and wore a green item of clothing! Recognising mental health involves being aware of our own feelings and behaviours, as well as those of others. Encouraging open conversations about feelings, seeking support from friends, colleagues or professionals and practicing self-care are great steps toward improving mental health. We are proud to invest in Mental Heath First Aid, awareness and wellbeing training for our employees; most recently introducing Resilience Training supported by Ann Pemberton FCIPD FIoL and its amazing to see the positive impact this is having within our workplace.

Our Engineering Apprentices from Sertec Light Stampings did a fantastic job setting up the stand and talking about their personal experiences over the past 2/3 years with Sertec! This is the first of many events that we have booked in the diary over the next few months with local schools & colleges.
