Our Head of Digital Construction and Engineering, Ben Jowett, is attending the upcoming Dalux Summit. This year we took a big step in our innovation journey by implementing Dalux across our business, a project led by Ben and the wider Group Business Improvement team. Dalux has revolutionised how we collaborate within Common Data Environments, streamlining our information and data management processes, and increasing our productivity in the Field both internally and with our partners. This enables us to bring our digital transformation to the next level. The Dalux Summit is a great opportunity for us to connect with industry leaders and partners, explore the latest innovations, and discuss the future of Digital Construction and Engineering. Stay tuned for more updates next week as Ben will also be sharing his insights on two exciting panels at the event! #Dalux #DigitalTransformation #DigtialEngineering

It’s been a busy week in the world of early careers at SES! Yesterday, our Group Trainee Management Programme launched, with many positions available across our projects and offices nationwide. Additionally, team members from our Birmingham office, Antony Glastonbury and Fathia Kashimawo, attended a local careers fair at Colmers School and Sixth Form College alongside Fiona Weir, Social Value Manager at VINCI Building UK. We are collaborating locally with Vinci on the expansion and renovation of The Belfry Hotel and Resort's event space and adjoining guestrooms. At the fair, our team engaged with Year 10, 11 and sixth-form students to introduce them to the construction industry and the diverse career paths it offers. Many students showed an interest in electrical engineering, and Antony, our Senior Project Engineer, shared his personal journey in the field. We always enjoy connecting with young people and hope to inspire them to pursue careers in our dynamic industry! Start your career with SES today by applying to our Trainee Management programme: https://lnkd.in/eRkqpk_9 #earlycareers Sam Johnson

Yesterday, SES attended the Data Centre Transformation conference, a gathering of industry leaders and decision-makers driving the future of the sector. The day was packed with insightful discussions on AI, energy demand, sustainability, and innovation. We were fortunate to join two standout workshops: "What’s Driving Demand in the Data Centre Sector" with Ruth Miller of Lenovo, and "Working Together to Meet Demand" led by Philip Beale of RED Engineering Design. A key highlight came during Ian White’s opening address, "Trends Driving Our Digital Age," where he shared a message that deeply resonates with us: "We must innovate." At SES, we believe that innovation is critical to creating facilities which will enable the sector and the industries it supports to thrive. Thank you to the The DCA - Data Centre Alliance for organising such a thought-provoking and impactful event. We look forward to applying these learnings as we continue to drive innovation and transformation. Lawrence Hooker, Hannah Taylor #DataCentres #DigitalInfrastructure #Innovation #Technology

Last night, we had the honour of attending the Design and Build UK Awards where our very own Sam Johnson was nominated for a Lifetime Achievement Award! The competition was fierce, and while we didn't take home the top prize, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Sam.
