Who trains the trainer....    We are delighted to have been instructed to deliver the SFJ Awards, Level 4 Award in Designing and Delivering Incident Command Training for Avon Fire & Rescue Service. At K Lamb Associates we deliver a substantial number of SFJ Award courses relating to Incident Command, but it always a pleasure to deliver the training for the trainers. With so many UK Fire Services now building their own in-house state of the art training and development centres it is encouraging to see the same level of investment in their Incident Command Training Teams. A well-received course, 8 delegates have now completed phase 1 (3-days) of this qualification. We look forward to returning for completion of phase 2 later in the year.    Overseas, our delivery team once again landed in The States of Jersey to deliver 4-days of SFJ Awards- Effective Command-ICL2 & 3 revalidation assessments with The States of Jersey Fire & Rescue Service. Always a pleasure, the engagement and immersion in our scenarios from the Officers is commendable. Assured competence is a cornerstone of community and corporate risk management and the K Lamb Associates team play a very valuable part in our approach to both.” Jersey FRS    In Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service our delivery team was welcomed as they delivered another SFJ Awards, Level 6 Award in Advanced Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services. A long-standing client, our course director has nothing but praise for the continued commitment to quality training which T&WFRS adhere to. Just look at these 2 examples of feedback from the delegates. “A game changer in the world of Incident Command Training! A local delivery model, GMFRS’s own Incident Command Trainers delivered the course with one KLA trainer in attendance as part of our assurance audit required for this type of delivery model.
