BOX, the latest addition to the Heart of the City project, is set to open on November 23rd at Barker's Pool. This venue will offer a prime location for entertainment, featuring HD screens showcasing top sporting events from Sky, TNT, and Box Office. With live commentary, electric darts, and live music from Thursday to Saturday, BOX represents another significant step in Sheffield's urban regeneration, providing a versatile space for a fun night out or a place to unwind. #sheffield #box #sportsbar #darts

What's next for Sheffield's historic Salvation Army Citadel? The Sheffield City Council has recently acquired the former Salvation Army Citadel on Burgess Street, marking another exciting milestone in Sheffield’s development. This iconic building, which first opened its doors in 1984 as a church venue for the Salvation Army, has stood vacant since 1999, awaiting its next chapter! After years of negotiations, an agreement has finally been reached to settle court proceedings, allowing the council to take ownership of the property. This acquisition opens up a world of possibilities for repurposing and revitalising a significant piece of Sheffield's architectural heritage. The Sheffield City Council has already set the wheels in motion, initiating an assessment of the building to explore its potential future uses.
