For that reason, we take immense pride in being led by our exceptional CEO and Founder, Katie Holland, who has made championing women at every level in the workplace an unwavering priority. Thanks to Katie's visionary leadership and the incredible efforts of our dynamic team, 2023 was a ground-breaking year for us. We expanded globally, grew our team, built on our relationships with existing brand partners and welcomed exciting new brand partners to our sample sale community. We also proudly donated an astounding £60,000 to our chosen charities. Driven by the tireless work of our team, we’re excited for 2024 to be bigger and better! This International Women’s Day, we stand united in celebrating the remarkable achievements of women worldwide. We acknowledge the obstacles they face in the journey towards equality and recognize the important and pivotal work that still lies ahead. When women are empowered, societies prosper, economies thrive, and communities are stronger. As Showcase continues to grow, gender equality and female empowerment will continue to be a priority. On this International Women's Day, we celebrate the amazing women we have here at Showcase; our team, our members and our brands.

At Showcase, charity is a huge part of who we are. We believe in giving back to our community as much as we can. Our director Nadia recently attended an event to represent Showcase’s support of the London Charter To End Rough Sleeping – a mission supported by the Mayor of London and key donors such as TAP London, an organisation we are proud to donate to. Our mission goes beyond offering exceptional sample sale experiences; it's about fostering a culture of generosity and social responsibility. This year, we've had the privilege of supporting the following outstanding organizations: Mesothelioma UK: Fighting against asbestos-related cancer, providing support, and funding crucial research. The Trussell Trust: Aiming to end hunger and poverty by supporting food banks and empowering communities. Choose Love: Committed to providing essential aid and support to refugees around the world. Heart of Kent: Providing compassionate palliative care and enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. Asthma and Lung UK: Driving breakthroughs in research and supporting those affected by respiratory conditions. Tap London: Helping a number of different charities combat homelessness in London. Trinity Hospice: Providing compassionate care and support to individuals and their families facing life-limiting illnesses. Pancreatic Cancer Action: Improving the survival rates of pancreatic cancer by ensuring more people are diagnosed early and in time for surgery. These incredible organizations inspire us every day, and we are honoured to contribute to their missions. It's a testament to the power of collective effort and the positive change that businesses can bring to society. We want to express our deepest gratitude to our loyal members and partner brands, Together, we are making a difference, one sample sale at a time!
