Building a business like a Rock Band!! If I was building a business from scratch, I would be building it like a rock band! A band consisting of 4 key foundational roles: 🎤 Lead Singer - Sales (likely the founder too) 🥁 Drummer - Ops & Delivery (potentially co-founder) 🎸 Bass Player - Customer Success & Delivery 🤘 Lead Guiarist - Marketing ‘Band’ after all is just another word for company. How would you build your business if starting from scratch?

How to be an awful leader... A doctor told me a story the other day about his first day at a new practice It was in a rough area with a lot of drug abuse & anti-social behaviour He knew it would be a challenge, but it was one he was willing to take on However, it quickly became clear to him that the rest of the staff at the practice didn't share his enthusiasm... There was a heavy feeling of fatalism in the air - everyone seemed to just be going through the motions They didn't seem to actually care about their patients... One doctor was even prescribing whatever addicts "needed" - as long as it got them out the door and off his case He was baffled by what he was seeing... That is, until he met the senior partner Then it all made a lot more sense... When they first met the senior partner shook his hand and said to him: "Great to meet you! If you ever need me, my door's always open!" Then he went into his office, locked the door, and our doctor didn't see him again for the next 3 months It was no wonder the team were failing their patients, their own leader was failing them!. If you're trusted to lead a team, it needs to be by example. You can't lead from behind a locked door.

CEO of $2M-$3M/m Agency Genflow | I will teach you to scale your business to 8 figures

Genflow scaled to 8 figures in 8 years. We work with some of the biggest brands and creators in the world. But we haven’t sent cold outreach even once. All our outreach is hot. Steal our exact process ⬇️ 1. Personalise your message 2. Consult from the first word 3. Find out where they’re going wrong 4. Fix it for free and show them a better way 5. Create a decision tree to qualify prospects 6. Run dream clients through the tree as well 7. Share that value directly in your first outreach 8. Throughout the ‘sales’ process, continue consulting 9. Build different angles for each type of client you have Never forget this one rule: Make it about them, not you. Most cold outreach gets ignored. With this system, your outreach will be so hot… They’ll feel they HAVE to work with you. ps. I’m helping 10 agency founders scale to 8 figures. Me and my team will personally advise you this year. “Sell me this pen” - THE interview question. Here’s how to answer in the 5 most popular sales methodologies, and how I’d answer it: 1. SPIN Selling: "Tell me about a time a pen let you down during an important task—how did that affect your outcome?" 2. Solution Selling: "Consider your daily tasks. What features would make a pen perfect for your needs, and how might this pen exceed those expectations?" 3. Challenger Sale: "Most people settle for average pens; let me show you how using a superior pen can transform your professional image and efficiency." 4. Sandler: "If there were a way to guarantee that your pen would never die in your most crucial moments, would you be interested in hearing about it?" 5. Conceptual Selling: "How does the reliability and quality of your writing tools impact your productivity and professional appearance?" So how would I answer it? I’d ask, “why do you want me to sell this pen to you?” … and I’d get them to either sell the pen to themselves, or accept that their question is not an effective way to evaluate my talent. It’s a fun one though. Never gets old.

There's a fun story behind how they made Top Gun... Originally, they were going to use model planes and ships like they did to film Star Wars. Top Gun didn't have a huge budget so were pretty limited on what they could get their hands on. Thankfully, someone had the bright idea to reach out to the navy anyway and see if they could borrow some equipment. When they spoke to the admiral of the Navy, it turns out that they were trying to recruit more people, and being featured in a Hollywood movie was the perfect opportunity for them. They agreed to let them use their planes and ships to film Top Gun, and the rest is history. It was the perfect partnership as both parties massively benefitted... The US Navy saw their recruitment rates increase by a massive 500% in the year following the film’s release. Despite having a modest production budget of $15 million, Top Gun defied expectations, grossing over $356 million worldwide upon its release. There's two things you can take from this... 1. Somebody woke up this morning with the resources you want. 2. You have to be willing to pick up the phone and ask. What is it that your business needs right now? Let me know in the comments below... #partnerships #topgun #entrepreneurship
