Throughout January, Steve Hall our Transport Manager took on an incredible challenge, running a total of 52.4 miles in support of Prostate Cancer UK. 🏃♂️ Not only did he surpass his original goal, but he also raised an amazing £470, with support from our company and colleagues. Today, we join the United Nations in celebrating International Mother Language Day, recognising the importance of linguistic diversity and cultural heritage. 🌍 It is the 25th anniversary of International Mother Language Day which celebrates a quarter-century of efforts to preserve linguistic diversity and promote mother tongues. This milestone emphasises the importance of language preservation in safeguarding cultural heritage, improving education, and fostering more peaceful societies. Yesterday, we celebrated Random Act of Kindness Day by encouraging our employees to recognise the amazing acts of kindness happening around them. 🌟 We left small cards for employees to nominate colleagues who have gone the extra mile with their kindness. Last week, we came together to support #WorldCancerDay, raising funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
