What a fantastic week! Liverpool City Council granted planning permission for our £110m Love Lane scheme in L3.  . We are absolutely delighted to announce that planning has been granted for our latest acquisition of Love Lane. We are proud to be part of this larger vision to deliver positive outcomes for housing needs, provision of jobs, and contribute to economic growth in our city. This project embodies our ethos as developers, transforming unused land into beautiful homes and contributing to creating a thriving, vibrant community.   The scheme consists of four residential blocks offering high-quality living spaces with a great outlook and premium views towards the river Mersey. The scheme will incorporate and enhance the existing features of renovated rail arches, with a working viaduct that will house commercial spaces. A new public walkway will link Chadwick St, Little Howard St, and Sprainger St, all maintaining the historical importance of the site's past development for the future community. . RAAC failed panels successfully removed and replaced with new timber floor infills along with new roof insulation and liquid membrane. Failed curtain walling also replaced. Not long to go before the new Cancer Assessment Unit is handed over to Barts Health NHS Trust. In an area on the fifth floor of Barts King George V building that once housed offices, our design takes advantage of natural light and the surrounding views to give patients undergoing chemotherapy a comfortable relaxed quiet environment. #InspiringHealthyPlaces #HospitalDesign #Cancer #HealthcareArchitecture #Treatment

We are delighted that GRID Architects proposals for the Caspian Cultural Centre in Ealing Council (London Borough of Ealing) was unanimously approved at planning committee last night. We are incredibly happy that this amazing charity will finally get their new home! The new centre will replace the charities existing premises on site and will be funded by the 105 new student residences above. The committee praised the high quality architecture and how the design accommodates the range of uses on a small constrained site. We look forward to the next stage of the project which forms part of our growing portfolio of cultural, community and PBSA projects. We have been working with Hull City Council and the NHS on the design of a new community diagnostics centre (CDC), to bring accessible medical services to Hull city centre 🚶♀️ The project, proposed as part of our Albion Square masterplan for redevelopment, will provide a range of diagnostic services including MRI, X-ray, CT scanning and ultrasounds.
