Today, David Gammon CFIIA was at Tylney Hall Hotel with marketing team members from coaching clients, sharing ideas, processes and re-evaluating thoughts around successful engagement. Just part of the value-add we offer coaching clients throughout the year. If you run a business and are looking for a fresh way to evaluate where you are and re-energise your own journey, why not have a look at our exclusive workshop in July - Break Free… https://lnkd.in/e7YMUBNT

Coaching is hands down the most effective technology for creating behavioural change that allows high performance. But the key to unlocking high performance is unique to everyone. The goal of coaching is not to fix problems but to allow people to improve their performance and like all human interactions, coaching is unpredictable, messy, and beautiful. In our latest MEMO, David Gammon CFIIA looks at how coaching changes results. https://lnkd.in/evgxDjud #businesscoaching

As part of the ongoing support we offer clients, we have a programme of learning throughout the year that covers various aspects of the business. Some of this is online and some in person, as it encourages better interaction. Last Thursday, at Tylney Hall in Hampshire, we met with Operations Managers from a diverse range of companies to discuss and share ideas and resolve common challenges they face in their roles. They were a great bunch who really embraced the purpose of the get-together to nurture new thinking in their leadership roles.

Companies that work with me in a coaching program also have access to a range of free training sessions that I run both live and online. This is the 2024 event calendar. I have a couple of places left for coaching programs this year if you are interested in exploring what high performance looks like for you, your company and your leadership team.

Designing an execution framework for an individual and coaching to stay within the lines takes time. But, by not doing it, you are perpetuating the very busyness you are suffering from.   There must be a compelling payback to overcome any objections.  And there is - Faster and more effective execution.   In our latest memo, Dave looks at this idea, with five essential things to include in your delegation routine. https://lnkd.in/eR-i9J9K

Dave's latest memo is now available... and here is a short clip. You can see the full video, read online or download the PDF here: https://lnkd.in/e9NyTaPp A perfect read or watch to start the year with your plans being hatched for the next twelve months, remembering that goals and objectives lose their motivational power without a map of the mess – a thorough and honest analysis of ‘where we are now’. #leadershipdevelopment

A critical distinction between a manager and an operator is that a Manager is responsible for delivering activities and specific results, whether done by them or others.   Responsibility is accompanied by accountability - for your decisions, actions and results - and within your business, you will be required to report to others. But many managers don’t prepare properly for these conversations, resulting in frustration, wasted time and a lack of satisfaction for everyone.   Poor reporting and communication can also make you think your manager or colleagues micromanage or don’t trust you.   In my latest memo insight, I explore a way to fix that: https://lnkd.in/dXieRc7z

We’ve had a few proposals for leadership development programs held up lately because the MDs were asking the Leaders the wrong question: Do you want some coaching and development? So, who should really decide about coaching and development for an individual?    The truth is that none of us know ourselves as well as we think we do, and we certainly don't know how others see us. But we still create a powerful story about it.   In Dave's latest insight, he explores five (and a half) specific challenges for self-diagnosing our leadership development needs. https://lnkd.in/eYb4zgCC #leadershipdevelopment
