We are excited to announce that Huddersfield-based, SKA Developments are recruiting an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting directly to our Finance Director, you will have the opportunity to become a key player in ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date by using both paper and digital systems to store the information efficiently. For a successful candidate your duties would include: - Managing VAT returns - Bank reconciliation. - Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. - Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records using Xero - Other duties as required. Successful Candidates will also - Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Be familiar with general accounting principles. - Be highly organised, proactive and an excellent attention to detail. - Be a positive, approachable team player. - Have the ability to work independently. Successful Candidates will also need to have previous bookkeeping experience great IT skills as well as knowledge in the accounting software systems Xero and QuickBooks.
