Today, our Children’s Steering Group had a blast testing Cadent Gas Limited’s newest carbon monoxide awareness game and they blew us away with their amazing ideas! 🎮💡 These young gamers shared creative insights and suggestions that will make the game even more engaging and impactful. A great two days at County Hall, Chelmsford showcasing our Minecraft educational game to the local children of Essex. As part of this event, hosted by Essex Highways, we were able to engage with children about the challenges of roadworks and raise awareness around the work Cadent Gas Limited do. The event also gave us the opportunity to showcase Cadent's centres for warmth, PSR and gave the local residents the opportunity to discuss some of the options available to them provided by Cadent around CO and safeguarding.   This event would not have been possible without the positive engagement from Essex Highways, who worked with us to secure the space and ensure we had a good attendance.   The event was the start of Skewb Climate and Cadent's engagement with local authorities and we hope to arrange more of these in the coming weeks. We are in the final few days of delivering our disaster relief module on behalf of the Royal Air Force (RAF) Youth STEM team. It has been great to see the children so engaged and utilising STEM principles while still having fun. In the game players assume the role of RAF disaster relief personnel sent to assist an earthquake-affected region. Encouraging the players to think strategically about relief efforts.
