As part of our Communities Matter scheme, we recently granted a transformative York-based business supporting ex-offenders £250. Chocolate & Co is a community-focused café that creates employment opportunities for ex-offenders and individuals in recovery. The funding we provided will pay for 66 of the café’s signature house chocolates for its ‘Pay It Forward’ scheme, enabling customers to contribute meals and drinks to those in need. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Michelle joins Skipton Business Finance from Close Brothers Invoice Finance, where she served as Head of Commercial Client Services and Northern Operations.
