What an amazing summer! We ran daily free-to-access programmes for young people in Hackney and Peckham which offered a range of opportunities that help people to develop skills, build friendships and stay engaged. Thanks to all the individuals, organisations and funders who made this possible. This includes @SouthwarkHAF; @HackneyHAF; Sported; Superdrug; CIBC; Garfieldweston; @henrysmithcharity; Londonyouthfoundation; Jack Petchey Foundation; Hackney Quest; Paul Gordon

Over summer, we held a brilliant community day & BBQ alongside Sported & Superdrug and what a day it was! The atmosphere was incredible as families and young people came together to celebrate, connect, and enjoy some well-deserved fun. A key highlight of the day was the football tournament, which saw both young people and families eagerly take part. The matches were full of energy, showcasing amazing teamwork and a true sense of healthy competition. We were also thrilled to collaborate with Superdrug, who brought their iconic pink double-decker bus to the event. As part of the festivities, they offered a self-care experience, providing hair makeovers and skincare treatments for the young people. It was fantastic to see so many taking a moment for a bit of pampering and walking away with a boost of confidence. After the games and self-care activities, we took time to celebrate not only the participants of the tournament but also the incredible achievements of our young people over the summer. From sports programs to creative workshops, their hard work and dedication really stood out. Awards were handed out, and smiles filled the room as we recognised their efforts. We wrapped up the day with a delicious BBQ, serving over 50 families and young people freshly grilled food. It was the perfect way to close the event, with everyone sharing food, laughter, and great company. The day was all about celebrating community spirit and recognizing all that our young people have achieved. Here’s to many more days like this! A huge thank you to Hackney Quest Jellot , Shorditch Youth FC and Pearson street adventure playground for all participating and attending our event.

As a charity partner with CIBC, we are incredibly grateful for their support over the last 2.5 years. At our recent charity football match, held in partnership with CIBC, SkyWay Charity, and School-Home Support, we proudly raised our "Go Gold Shine Bright" banner in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Our partnership with CIBC has been instrumental in maximising awareness and support for childhood cancer. Their commitment extends beyond events like these, enabling us to provide essential care and support to children and their families from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. We truly appreciate their continued dedication and the significant impact they make. 💛 #GoGold #ShineBright #SupportLennox #ChildhoodCancerAwareness #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth

**Volunteer day with CIBC: Building community and serving meals** We just wrapped up our second Volunteer Day with CIBC, and it was a fantastic event. We teamed up to plant some fruit bushes for young people to enjoy. This will give them the fun of being able to pick their own fruit (if they're faster than the birds) and help to promote environmental care. Later on the volunteers made a homemade lasagna from scratch, as well as the most delicious chocolate brownies. This treat was enjoyed by nearly 40 young people who came to the youth club that evening. The day was all about giving back and strengthening our community bonds. Thanks to everyone for their hard work and enthusiasm.

**Summer Programme: Activities, trips, and food** This summer, we're offering a free programme filled with fun activities, trips, and meals for young people. We've planned a wide range of activities to keep everyone busy, engaged, and supported during the school break. Whether it's creative arts, sports, or adventure, there's something for everyone. These experiences are a great way to try new things, make friends, and have a lot of fun. Best of all, it's free to access.
