Last week we were at Italy's main gaming industry event #FirstPlayable, in Florence. We met many Italian studios and it was a great opportunity to view pitches, catch up with old friends and partners and make new ones. We were pleased to see a constant increase in the quality of games in the Italian video game industry, and these kinds of events are just great for promoting a productive and creative environment of knowledge sharing. Last week we had the pleasure of hosting students from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore to give them a glimpse into the world of gaming and our work here at Slitherine. We explored a variety of topics, ranging from the internal dynamics of video game companies to the multifaceted process of launching a product into the market. One of the highlights was interacting with a novice audience, which proved to be incredibly constructive. And of course, what's a visit to Slitherine without a hands-on experience? The students got to try out a preview of Headquarters World War II, offering us invaluable feedback that will help shape our future projects.
