2 new offshore wind contracts for Smulders! 🌊 Ørsted awarded Smulders the contract to fabricate and supply secondary steel components for the Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm. Each set includes a boat landing, ladder, anode cage and internal cages. The majority of the work will be completed at our yard in Wallsend, Newcastle, reinforcing our commitment to local expertise and innovation. Additionally, Smulders has secured an EPC contract for the Centre Manche 1 and 2 offshore wind farms. On behalf of Chantiers de l’Atlantique and in collaboration with Eiffage Métal, we will handle the engineering, procurement, and construction of the 2 HVDC converter platform jackets. #Manufacturingasustainableworld #OffshoreWind #RenewableEnergy
