Over three weeks, our team completed 320 challenges, from outdoor adventures and eco-friendly picnics to waste reduction efforts. 👏 A big thank you to our MPP ambassador, Nadia NAIR, for leading this initiative in Luxembourg, and to everyone who contributed. Wil jij ook starten als Cloud Engineer bij Sogeti? ☁️🚀 Shan Hu is in september bij Sogeti gestart als Cloud Engineer. Haar verhaal laat zien dat het nooit te laat is om je passie te volgen. Na haar opleiding Human Resource Management besloot zij om de studie Software Engineering te volgen. Deze heeft zij vorig jaar met succes afgerond. Tijdens haar afstudeerstage-periode is ze met twee vriendinnen naar de Nationale Carrièrebeurs gegaan. Daar is ze in gesprek geraakt met Sogeti. Hieruit volgden meerdere leuke gesprekken en een contract. Daarnaast zijn haar vriendinnen ook aagenomen. Shan mocht na het ondetekenen van haar contract mee op de bekende Ohio-reis. ”Van te voren wist ik niet echt wat ik kon verwachten. Ik hoorde wel van iedereen dat het pittig was, maar ik wist niet precieas wat ze bedoelden. Achteraf gezien heb ik er ernorm veel van geleerd. Ik ben van mezelf een introvert persoon en ik vond presenteren best spannend. Tijdens de reis werd je juist uitgedaagd om buiten je comfortzone te stappen. Ohio was echt een ‘save space’ om fouten te maken en daaruit weer te groeien.” Op dit moment is ze bezig met het Young Professionals program. Dit houdt in dat ze verschillen cetificeringen aan het behalen is zoals het AZ-400 certificaat. Daarnaast werkt ze nu mee op een project van een grote hoogspanningsnetbeheerder.
