We’re keen supporters of AGS - Association of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Specialists events, and while we’re very much looking forward to next month’s Groundwater event, we’re equally excited to be leading sponsor of next year’s Annual Conference. Registration is already open, and if last year’s event was anything to go by, it should be time well spent once again. Looking forward to seeing faces old and new at both events! https://lnkd.in/ejDN84uW

Providing our clients with a reliable service, even when we're breaking new ground. Undertaking some of the Isle of Wight's deepest ever geotechnical boreholes to provide vital data for public safety.
Last borehole to be drilled for GI on landslide-hit Isle of Wight road Work to drill the last borehole has begun as part of ground investigations along a landslide-hit road on the Isle of Wight. #groundinvestigations #landslide #isleofwight #road #boreholes

#throwbackthursday was a little busy with our latest contract award, so we thought we'd bring you #flashbackfriday instead. Going back to our 2007 #groundinvestigation for the A487 Porthmadog Bypass, and the odd episode involving an inaccurately recorded well exactly in the location of a borehole. Outcomes - Drillers amused, Borehole relocated, landowner delighted to find his grandfather's missing well. History note: Spot the Norwest Holst branding still in use at the time.
