Soul Purpose 360 CIC 360 needs YOU! As part of our Definition Redefined campaign, we’ve written an Open Letter that highlights the need for the campaign. We are inviting you to become a signatory, by doing so, you’ll be part of a powerful movement changing the narrative around Black Women in Britain. We believe that the current narrative about Black women is deeply intertwined with Britain’s colonial past and the enslavement of African people. This outdated and harmful perspective has shaped the foundations of institutionalised racist and sexist practices, policies, and attitudes in British society. These views are not reflective of modern British society, and change can only come about if we take a stand! It takes less than 2 minutes to sign, so please add your name and support this important movement! Share the link and encourage your family, friends and colleagues to join our campaign! https://bit.ly/3WFMBzq #share #sign #donate #definitionredefined #dianneabbott #dawnbutler Florence Eshalomi @davidlammy Elsie Owusu OBE RA Sinai Fleary Risa Nagasaki Black Females In Architecture #blacktwitter Allison Ng Victoria Showunmi Palma BlackTara Miran Jacqueline Bleicher Stephanie Edwards AA Dip ARB RIBA Michelle Drew Nita Solanky Hashtag BlackLinkedin

The Black Women's Networking & Empowerment Circles are always popping with conversations about the impact on us as Black women from others perspectives. Oftentimes, this leads into conversations about situations and circumstances in health or housing, out in the community or in places of work. This piece in Inside Housing a couple of weeks back, reflects on how Black women are perceived in social housing, as both tenants and staff. Change is long overdue. The social housing sector must confront and redefine the internalised narratives about Black women tenants and staff. #DefinitionRedefined #SoulPurpose360 #ChangeIsComing #TimeForChange #ChangingNarratives #ReclaimingNarratives #BHM2024 #HearOurVoices
