The fashion sourcing app, reimagining the way you find.

About us

We believe that finding the pieces you love should be easier than trawling through search engines and marketplaces, calling stores or being added to waiting lists. That’s why we built Sourcewhere. We’re the first fashion sourcing app, a place to find and request the beautiful things you’re looking for - past and present, new and pre-owned. Powered by a network of personal shoppers, sales advisors, and private collectors, we connect you to those who can access in-demand and timeless items, so that you can source fewer, better pieces that you’ll keep forever.

Earlier this year we introduced our first instalment of ‘Sourcewhere Drops’ - a series of covetable, curated collections sourced exclusively for the Sourcewhere community by our selected experts. First in collaboration, we worked with trusted partner and Hermès connoisseur, Mies Preowned in a series titled ‘Hermès, Margiela’s Era’. The 15 piece capsule presented a rare selection of Margiela-era Hermès, all of which were created by the iconoclast himself during his celebrated six-year tenure at the luxury house. From timeless knitwear featured in early print campaigns to an ultra rare overcoat (a collectible straight from the runway), these museum-worthy finds were made available to the Sourcewhere community for the first time. Discover the the drop and see the pieces in motion in a series of story-telling images, taken on the street of Paris in their paired-back nature. Plus, read the full story on the drop at Sourcewhere.com, with special thanks to Suzanne Koller, Stylist and Founder of Self-Service Magazine, for her take on the edit and Margiela’s impact on luxury today. https://lnkd.in/ghTFgrfS #sourcewhere

The Fulfilment of Finds In May, we saw two record-breaking moments on the app for requests being fulfilled. For our longest match on record, a customer based in Sweden requested an Hermès runway jacket from 1998 (Martin Margiela era — as rare as it gets). In a miracle moment, a vintage sourcing expert in the network located the jacket in Paris, 775 days after the request was placed. A conscious and purposeful way of purchasing, this was a find worth waiting for. On the other end of the spectrum, we saw our fastest ever request-to-match moment in the same week with a pair of sandals from The Row — the Mara sandal to be precise, expected to be one of the most requested items of the season ahead. Requested one evening, the client received a match from one of our current season sourcing experts just 10 minutes later, and purchased them within 5 minutes of the pair being offered. This demonstrates our community’s swift action and engagement, and the power of our network to locate items — quite literally in minutes. The journey to fulfilling requests on Sourcewhere can be intricate, swift, time-consuming, or instantaneous. One thing remains constant: once a request is placed, we are dedicated to finding a match, no matter how long (or quickly!) it takes.

A most requested style at Sourcewhere? Mary Janes. We spoke with the Financial Times about the most coveted shoe on the app to date — Alaia’s Mesh Flats, a pair that never stays in stock. Alaia has been one of the most requested brands on the app, and the Sourcewhere community were early adopters of this particular style, first requesting the Mesh Flats in March 2023 just weeks after they hit the stores. With requests on an all-time high for Mary-Janes, we discussed the brands and most sourced styles to note with FT HTSI’s Zoe Suen. Take a look online, as well as in the print issue, seen below. https://lnkd.in/guanxQ2Z Looking for sold-out Mary Janes? Download the Sourcewhere app today.
