Gensler’s 2023 Workplace Survey highlights that employees who feel connected to their teams tend to perform at higher levels, reinforcing a shared sense of purpose. With nearly three decades of forward-thinking legal service across the UK, TLT is a law firm that takes pride in pushing the boundaries of traditional workspace culture. TLT’s recent move into Manchester’s Eden building, one of the UK’s greenest office spaces, marks another step in their ongoing journey towards net-zero emissions by 2040. Designed and delivered by the team at Interaction, TLT’s vision for the new office was ambitious: a space that didn’t just look sustainable but actively embodied it. Spacestor’s modular storage solutions played a role in this purposeful partnership, solutions that have and will continue to grow and adapt with TLT for years to come. Spacestor provided HotLocker as a personal storage solution, giving TLT’s employees provision to store personal items. Storagewall, Spacestor’s sleek, built-in storage system, was also used to help TLT keep its office organized and uncluttered. The new HotLocker banks were chosen with the confidence of a Declare Label Red List Approved rating and a transparent understanding of what goes into the product. Warm and modern with a synchronous design throughout. The EY offices in Helsinki, Finland, is this week's #WorkspaceOfTheWeek designed by Fyra. EY's new Helsinki office boasts innovative use of historical building elements combined with state of the art technology. Fyra's challenge was to create a first-class employee experience through flexible spatial solutions, cutting-edge technology, and bringing a focus on well-being and sustainability as primary drivers. The space accommodates approximately 900 workers and adopts a hospitality-driven workplace concept providing amenities such as a gym, lunch and breakfast services, barista-made coffees, and postal services. The visual design concept embodies the comfort and warmth synonymous with the hospitality industry, diverging from the typical corporate office aesthetics. Along with this, the preservation of architectural elements, such as the stone floors and glass walls, respect the building’s heritage. The building itself was also granted the highest LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certificate, necessitating a corresponding commitment to sustainability in its interior components! Cutting edge communications organisation, Edelman collaborated with architects, Gensler, in the curation of their new UK workplace. Edelman’s new home is a sustainable, socially supportive space which is highly aligned with the organisation’s brand and aims. The space takes inspiration from London's diversity and an aim of creating a space which champions creativity an community. With the aim of providing different space types for over 700 employees, Gensler designed the addition of 10,000 square feet through 8 mezzanine spaces to be incorporated into the existing 35,000 sq ft. Gensler and The Furniture Practice worked closely to pull together a bright, statement scheme, mixing old and new furniture, contemporary textures, and a huge variety of styles. Catering to different activities, the workplace includes open-plan and event areas, smaller breakout spaces, focused zones, secluded offices, and recreational, lounge areas. Spacestor partnered with The Furniture Practice and Gensler to provide their zone dividers, working to create breakout areas for small catch-ups or meetings. This brand new workspace is an exciting glimpse into the future of experiential workplace design! #WorkpaceOfTheWeek is The Bentley Systems workplace, located on the 43rd floor of the newly built 8 Bishopsgate, London! Along with a detail-driven and contemporary design that flawlessly complements the dramatic backdrop of London’s skyline, this workspace also echoes sustainability, from energy-efficient lighting down to net carbon-negative flooring. The workspace tells a story of seamless integration, where the experience studio and feature cocktail bar join forces to create a dynamic, multifaceted space that adapts to the changing needs of its users. Jewel toned furnishings with warm wood elements create a sleek and welcoming environment bringing teams together to foster creativity. This unique project looked to develop both Bentley Systems’ physical workspace and attitude to work. It is safe to say that the outcome has done just that, if not more.
