🚀 SpaceTimeLab at Data Science in Transport Conference 🚄
UCL’s SpaceTimeLab, led by Prof. Tao Cheng, took part in the recent Data Science in Transport Conference in London, co-hosted by the UK’s Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom and Google Cloud. We showcased our GeoAI research and its potential in shaping the future of transport.
Prof. Cheng joined a panel on "Geospatial AI in Transport," discussing the role of foundational models in transport planning, alongside experts like SpaceTimeLab alumnus Dr Mohamed Ibrahim, Ed Parsons (Google), Dr Rui Zhu, and Prof. Anthony Cohn.
Our team presented groundbreaking research during the AI Express Talks:
⭐ Prof. Cheng demonstrated "Spatio-Temporal Data Fusion" for urban flow analysis
⭐ XINGLEI WANG introduced "LLM-Mob," a method using large language models for human mobility prediction, with applications in epidemic modeling and transport planning
⭐ Xiaowei Gao presented "SMA-Hyper," a deep learning model for traffic accident prediction
At SpaceTimeLab, we’re committed to advancing GeoAI research and fostering diversity. Excited to collaborate? Visit our website (https://lnkd.in/dNnv_vNE) or get in touch here on LinkedIn. Let’s shape the future of transport together!
