A day well spent on Wednesday for the Spa team at this year’s #SustainabilityLive!🍃 Rory Flashman-Wells, Charlotte Wood, Lucy Simcox, Eloise Shenton and Jessica Bell headed to day two of the event at the Business Design Centre to support our client's Schneider Electric. Steven Brown, VP of Digital Energy Solutions at Schneider Electric, presented the keynote session ‘Sust-AI-nability’ which explored the use cases for AI to help decarbonise buildings and data centres, and how to deploy safe, reliable and sustainable digital infrastructure to meet growing demand. Steven then sat down with Helen Sydney Adams, Editor in Chief for Data Centre Magazine, to explore the challenges the market is facing on accelerating growth and decarbonising simultaneously, and how Schneider Electric is working with its customers to solve them. Louisa Buckley, Sales Manager at Schneider Electric, moderated a panel discussion between Amy Young, Madison Clements and Andy Davis on how educating people about the data centre industry is vital to address the skills shortage, creating an attractive, sustainable career path for both current and future talent. The timeliness of training for data centre experts is critical in the rapidly evolving field of data centre technologies.
