About us

Speciality Breads are traditional artisan bakers to the food service industry. Using only Red Tractor certified wheat flour and rapeseed oil allows us to support British farmers and use the best quality, local ingredients. Making us the UK's only fully Red Tractor accredited bakery. All breads are baked with care in our nut and sesame free bakeries. We bake a wide variety of breads, including mini breads, ciabattas, and frozen dough, made for chefs to explore and create. Our range includes over 60 breads registered with The Vegan Society, a number we're planning to increase. Our approach to baking is simple. We combine the best elements of traditional baking skills and modern food trends to create stunning breads and sweet bakery products, putting innovation and creativity at the heart of our business. All our products are frozen fresh from baking to preserve freshness and reduce food waste. We offer friendly customer service, selling directly to wholesalers but sending out samples to anyone in the food service industry.     🌾🚜 As Seen On Clarkson's Farm! 🚜🌾 I think we can all agree that Wildfarmed have been everywhere recently, many of you may be thinking, who are these these people and what does a disco ball have to do with flour? Let me explain... Wildfarmed, similar to us, are on a mission to be protect our planet and use a method called regenerative farming. They believe in farming WITH nature rather than against it. They are doing everything they can to change the way we farm and in turn this means greener future for our planet. We partnered up with Wildfarmed back in December and have been working closely with them on different ways we can help you spread the word about using their product.     A firm favourite in our office and in honour of attending the National Burger Awards, Champion of Champions event, we thought it would be fitting to showcase our Shokupan burger bun. This is a plant-based version of the Japanese Milk Loaf. It is a light, fluffy bun that is the perfect carrier for your burgers.     What a day! 💚 Visiting the Wildfarmed team and seeing them in action was a great way to spend our week. Seeing the level of enthusiasm, passion and drive the team have to create a better future for our planet in the food service industry is something we should all get on board with. As our company continues to grow, it is important to us that our food safety procedures continue to adapt and grow with us! Our most recent audit was a great success for us at Speciality Breads being awarded an A+ grade. But what does this mean for our customers? The BRCGS A+ grade is a high-level certification indicating that a company has achieved an exceptional level of compliance with BRCGS standards. Specifically: Audit Result: The A+ grade signifies that the company has undergone an unannounced audit and scored very high, demonstrating robust food safety, quality, and operational criteria.
