Another well-deserved award for Battersea!

The regeneration has respected the integrity of the historic landmark while creating new events spaces, shops, restaurants and cafés, large open-plan office spaces and a series of sky villas positioned around rooftop garden squares above the Boiler House and Turbine Halls. Congratulations to the project team including Battersea Power Station, Robert Bird Group, Mace, Buro Happold, chapmanbdsp, LDA Design, Speirs Major Light Architecture and Michaelis Boyd Click to learn more: https://lnkd.in/es_qCxUv 📸 Peter Landers 📸 James Budgen 📸 John Sturrock 📸 Nick Hufton #WilkinsonEyre #CTBUH #CTBUH2024 #BatterseaPowerStation #London

Thinking | Although in many projects, we intend the positive effects of lighting experienced subconsciously, in some instances, we choose to explicitly create a moment of delight that captures the imagination. Part 5 of our 5-part series of mini-essays on light and well-being explores 'The Magic of Light" - from unexpected moments of joy, to pause and reflection, and the power of light in spatial transformation.
