SRK Exploration is delighted that Richard Thomas has joined us as an Associate Expert in drilling. Richard has over 40 years' experience in drilling, having most recently served for 14 years as the President of the Energold Drilling EMEA Division. We look forward to using his significant knowledge and experience to help Clients solve their technical drilling problems and improve drilling efficiencies.

Colin Rawbone and Jon Russill were in Nuuk, Greenland, in June to deliver training in exploration planning, risk assessment and sampling to geologists. This initiative aimed to assist in developing Critical Raw Materials exploration opportunities. The training, which leveraged SRK EX's extensive experience in exploring Greenland, was well-received and the geological teams are now in the field putting it into practice. SRK Exploration geologists, William Dunn and Nicholas Steyn, recently returned from a successful trip, exploring part of the Arabian Shield in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The goal - to validate promising targets identified through interpretation of remote sensing and create a comprehensive, up-to-date geological map of the project area. The team's efforts will not only contribute to development of the Client's base metal and gold projects, but will also provide valuable data for a deeper understanding of the region's wider mineral potential. #mineralexploration #explorationgeology #saudiarabia

Congratulations to all of the SRK Exploration staff who took part in a Welsh Three Peaks challenge in April! The team battled wind, rain and darkness to summit Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan to raise over £5,000 for Brain Tumour Research.

Some of our colleagues from the SRK Exploration ZA team, along with members of SRK Consulting, have recently completed the NOSA SafetyCloud First Aid Level One training. This course, led by the Johan Liebenberg, provided our team with the essential skills needed to perform Basic Life Support and First Aid procedures. The team enjoyed the training, gaining valuable knowledge and skills which will certainly serve them well in their professional and personal lives. The course covered the fundamental principles of assessing an emergency situation, contacting emergency services, and performing life-sustaining skills while awaiting the arrival of emergency services.
