Last night we welcomed 700 prospective families and our wider community to our Open Evening. Families could tour the school, engage in fun activities in our departments and meet our staff. The evening was a massive success and we can't wait to welcome everyone to St James again in the future. ⭐ Year 7 Residential ⭐ We've had so much fun today - exploring and team-building on Dartmoor. Skateboarding Elective 🙌 Our skateboarding elective caters for all abilities and is fantastic for developing skills such as resilience and communication. On Friday 28th June, 5 St James students attended a STEM day at The Maynard School. The challenge this year was to design and make an electric car, capable of transporting goods. They then had to programme it so that it was able to independently complete a designated course. The students then had to present their car and the challenges they faced to the panel of STEM ambassadors as well as in front of the other teams.
