At Stackfix we really care about founders and the companies they create. We think the world needs more of them and they need to be better supported to build the change they want to see in the world. But every startup must start with an idea. That’s the topic of our first post in our new series of startup advice - how should you decide what ideas are worth pursuing and how do you make your ideas better over time?
Developing good startup ideas is really hard. Great ideas and downright horrible ideas are often initially indistinguishable - who's going to want to sleep on a strangers couch? (everyone apparently). Somewhat bad ideas often look so tantalising until you’re really in the weeds with them (but please do pitch me Tinder4Dogs). I don’t believe that great startups are built on a single eureka moment. They’re a spark of inspiration sure, but that’s followed by a long road of refinement, dead-ends and new realisations.
