The team at Starfish Construction is supporting Prostate Cancer UK by taking on the "March the Month of March" challenge, where our team will aim for 11,000 steps a day. We’re also capping it off with a hill walk of Ben A'an to raise funds and awareness. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, and we’re committed to helping make a difference. Alongside our fundraising efforts, we’ll be making a donation to support the cause. ⭐𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗥𝗔𝗔𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹, 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵⭐ We’re excited to have started our new RAAC removal project in Edinburgh Scotland, set to be completed within a 12-week programme. Set up has included a complex temporary roof structure and crash deck system to protect the internal configuration of the building below and keep operations running as smoothly as possible whilst we carry out critical works. This key project will involve the following works: - Removal of all roof plant and M&E with temporary air conditioning and chiller units installed - Removal of existing roof structure and RAAC roof deck - Install new metal roof deck and build back up with a tapered insulation roofing system - All associated works including detailing, new rainwater goods and suspended ceiling below - Reinstating all mechanical, electrical & refrigeration units Starfish Construction continues on our mission to sustainably shape the UK built environment with our key remediation works across the country and remain the most trusted construction partner for many building owners. ⭐𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗙𝗮ç𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱⭐ We’re delighted to commence our new remediation project to multiple apartment blocks in South Yorkshire, set to run over the next 20 weeks. Our dedicated team have already established the site and are currently completing the initial setup phase to ensure smooth progress on the works ahead. This project will involve remediation works across three apartment blocks, including: - Replacement of balcony frames and decking - Full replacement of cladding panels, insulation, and VCL - Installation of fire barriers - Remediation of water ingress issues Starfish Construction continues to lead the industry in diagnosing, designing, and delivering high-quality building envelope solutions across the UK.
