Here's a great #fridayfray startup story in the news today... Felix Wong, Co-Founder and CEO has puzzled over the question, why does everyone have to die, since the age of 6. It led him to launch Integrated Biosciences, Inc. - a startup trying to 'drug aging itself' as opposed to any specific disease, which means rather than finding cures for a particular illness, it targets the cells in our bodies that go awry as we age. How does he plan to pull off the eternal challenge? AI of course. Wong is training machine learning to identify the tiniest of molecules inside aging cells, understand what’s happening with them, and then create drugs that will target and restore those molecules to keep us biologically young.
