This study, focused on the transformative power of music, utilises the "Take Note" resources to enhance the quality of life for individuals with dementia. The "Take Note" set, created by Dr Fi Costa and Professor Adam Ockelford, integrates over 50 research studies, showcasing the profound impact music can have. Findings reveal that music can help awaken old skills, spark new abilities, and rekindle cherished memories. Simple and accessible, these resources aim to equip care workers with effective tools to use music without extensive training. It's heartening to see how music is helping residents express their feelings, engage in group activities, and improve overall wellbeing. Yetty Adepegba, Interim General Manager at Earlsfield Court, shared her enthusiasm: "We're delighted our residents could take part in this important research.
