Financial Times noticed and acknowledged our initiative
so thank you FT Adviser for the entry into the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year.
The FT Adviser Diversity in Finance Awards (DIFA) 2024 celebrated the achievements of companies and individuals who have gone above and beyond to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in UK financial services.
Sterling was founded by Melwin Mehta, an Indian who has been in London for 17 years. Naturally, we have Indians and Britons.
But we haven’t stopped there.
Our team has savored different cultures and nuances. We have had citizens of Italy, France, Jordan, Hungary, South Africa, Malaysia and even Azerbaijani, work and or intern . The world is our oyster.
Our team has had people from all races.
Our team practices all faiths but at heart, share 3 fundamental beliefs:
◾Good thoughts
◾Good words
◾Good deeds
We want Sterling to be that company that gives anybody – from anywhere – a chance to shine.
We will continue our endeavour and keen to make a deep lasting impact.
Will Sterling be the next United Nations? ……. Only 170 countries to go.
Thank you to the judges and the Personal Finance Society for supporting these prestigious awards.
Let’s keep championing diversity and making a positive difference in the financial world.
Congratulations to other winners too.
