We have "World Class" teams in: L&D Marketing IT Compliance Finance TA And HR To get this feedback is incredible. And well worth celebrating! • What a week it's been!   We've had an awesome time celebrating #InternationalWomensDay, sharing stories & tips about how we all can #AccerlerateAction.   Becca gave 5 lucky men simulated period cramps, while interviewing them about gender equality at work.   It definitely gave them a fresh perspective.   And highlighted one of the many inequalities that still exist today.   (It wasn't all about periods).   JessKatieEmmaChloë-Nicole☁️ Antonia also shared advice on 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬.   Hopefully, there was a tip in there for every business.   That could be easy to implement quickly.   Helping them take steps now to be a more inclusive, better employer.   Edie & Becca also attended a night at HER Recruitment Network.   Speaking with recruitment leaders about how we pave the path for female recruitment managers.    Finally, Lauren hosted a webinar with 3 leaders in her industry - sharing advice for aspiring women in the battery industry.   It's been busy. But important. And valuable.   Strativ Group is full of incredible, high performing women.   3/4 of our top billers last year were women.   And we're very proud of that!   These leaders are helping shape the future of this company.   So, hopefully "the noise" we've made on socials and our internal conversations will lead to real change.   We all want a fairer, more inclusive & better future.

  • 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬. 👇   We asked 5 of our top performers to give us their tips…   Take it away Jess, Katie, Emma, Chloë-Nicole & ☁️ Antonia! 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 & 𝑷𝒂𝒚: As it stands, it will take until 2158 to reach full gender parity.   That's awful.   Find your way to compensate fairly. Jess gives the example of the Strativ Group salary matrix which is transparent & solely performance-based. She also tells us about the importance of setting equal expectations, like our family leave policy which offers 9-months paid maternity & paternity. Being there for your children is a equal responsibility. And this policy shows that it's not just Mum who should take time off to support her family. 𝑭𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔:   Allow everyone to adjust their hours without question. Katie says this is helpful for women for self-care during their menstrual cycle or health-checks. That way, when you're logging on, you can bring your A-game.   𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒂 “𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒅 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆” 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 Normalize discussions around periods and reduce any embarrassment. Provide free menstrual products like tampons, pads, hot water bottles and even menstrual cups. Emma mentioned that it's crazy how a basic necessity like this can cost women up to £200 a year, with these products are still taxed as "luxury" items. 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒅𝒆: Allow people to be comfortable and feel confident in their clothing. Chloë-Nicole told us that the freedom to wear clothing of your choice for women who wanna come into the office - while dealing with body insecurities, bloating, or other - is a bit of a gamechanger. 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕, 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒆 & 𝑹𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚: Treat 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 without bias. Trust 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 to perform. Give 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 to same levels of opportunity, understanding & support. Recognise and reward based on high performance. Well said ☁️ Antonia. 👏   -----   Hopefully, there's a tip in there for every business. That's easy to implement, quickly.   It's what this year's #InternationalWomensDay is about.   Taking steps now to be a more inclusive, better employer.   #AccelerateAction

Awesome night at HER Recruitment Network! Edie & Becca joined recruitment leaders to chat all things gender diversity & equality in the space. There was an acknowledgement that the industry has been changing for the better... But we/women still have to push for what we deserve. The night was full of incredible stories & insight! It was amazing to dive into the challenges other women leaders have faced. Hear how they've overcome them. And learn about how we need to navigate our own journeys. There is still a long way to go. (80% of recruitment companies are led by men). But this evening inspired us to think that change is coming. #InternationalWomensDay #AccelerateAction

This is men 𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ simulated period cramps…   There were tears, red faces & open conversations about how period symptoms affect women in the office.   It was incredible to hear that Max, Chris, Jacob, George & James had a new-found respect for what women go through.   This is to acknowledge #InternationalWomensDay - which is all about how we #AccelerateAction for gender equality.   And that's what our campaign is about.   Raising awareness about the inequalities that women still face in the workplace, as well as providing insight on how to be a more inclusive employer.   Creating a more understanding culture & policies to support women dealing with period symptoms is a small, but important, area that a lot of companies can #AccerlerateAction and be better.   But there's so much more to do!   Stay tuned later in the week for 5 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧.   (It's not all about periods).   At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158, which is roughly five generations from now, to reach full gender parity, according to data from the World Economic Forum.   That's a much bigger issue, that employers need to take responsibility for.   Strativ Group is full of incredible, high performing women.   And we're very proud of that!   Many are top billers & leaders, helping shape the future of this company.   So, come on!   Let's Accelerate Action to speed up the rate of progress worldwide.   It's time.

  • The #positivevibes were flowing in Manchester this week.   You might be confused by these pics...   Why is Katie Jane Smith holding a hammer?   Why is Jess Hilton throwing fake money everywhere?   And what is Becca doing to poor Max Parfrey? All fair questions...   Everything will be revealed next week for our #InternationalWomensDay campaign.   This year, is all about how we #AccelerateAction for gender equality.   And that's what our campaign is all about.   Raising awareness about the inequalities that women still face in the workplace, as well as providing insight on how to be a more inclusive employer.   These messages are so important.   At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158, which is roughly five generations from now, to reach full gender parity, according to data from the World Economic Forum.   Focusing on the need to Accelerate Action emphasizes the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality.   Strativ Group is full of incredible, high performing women.
