The perfect solution for a customer who needed to replace an old, non-compliant steel tank used to store heating oil. Stroma Building Control System Approval has fully assessed and granted pre-approved Building Regulations to Tuffa FirePro Tanks, allowing for an assured, confident, speedy and consistent process in meeting your building control needs. As stated within the Tuffa guide to FirePro sign-off (https://ow.ly/n4EV50S1A63), a Tuffa FirePro installation requires an independent sign-off to comply with building regulations. Failure to do so would render an installation incompliant. The seamless process to achieve sign-off with Stroma Building Control System Approval is as follows: Step 1: Complete provided “Stroma Application Form” and submit it to tuffa@stromabc.com with your tank location photo prior to tank installation. Step 2: Pay the application fee. Step 3: Allow 7 working days from form submission before you install your tank. (If an application has any issues Stroma BC will contact you within this timeframe). Step 4: Install your heating oil tank according to our installation instructions. Step 5: Once installed, complete 2nd form: “Stroma Declaration Form” with your Installer and submit to tuffa@stromabc.com with your new tank location photo. Great progress shots from main contractor Faithdean Plc, who have been tasked with redeveloping an existing industrial unit at Dolphin Park for LCP Properties in Kent. The works entail stripping the existing cladding and asbestos roof, making alterations to its frame and replacing with an A1 Rated built-up cladding & roofing system. A new internal mezzanine will be added for additional office space, whilst new considerations to site access and parking will further elevate this existing site.
