The last few months have been incredibly busy, and I definitely haven't kept up with my posting. But today is a special occasion—it's the one-year anniversary of Struc UK! Over the past year, I've learned so much and met so many incredible people from different sectors. It's been a whirlwind of experiences and growth. One of the highlights has been hearing the amazing feedback from our clients. The best quote so far? "I can't believe I am going to say this, but you turned me into someone who's excited to learn about equations." As we look ahead to the next year, my goal remains: to continue improving data literacy and helping organisations use data effectively so they can move beyond being overwhelmed by constant fire-fighting. I had a great time at Reframe Women In Tech Conference discussing trends in Tech with the amazing Reema Vadoliya, Ngozi N., Jumana Bohra and Mansi Sharma yesterday. Turns out, speaking on a big stage about data in front of hundreds of people felt much easier than approaching a stranger one-on-one 😅 I think I just like talking about data too much... I've got to give a big shoutout to the organisers Beckie Taylor Natalie Asprey Roxy Stafford who clearly put a lot of thought into making the event inclusive. From providing free child care on-site and live subtitles to offering quiet spots for folks to recharge, they definitely had everyone's back. It's those little touches that make all the difference. What really blew me away was the lineup of speakers. We had tech returners, career switchers, male allies, women with disabilities, transwomen – and many more. Their stories in the tech world were so inspirational. It's hard to believe that most of them were first-time speakers! It was a breath of fresh air and left me feeling very hopeful about the future of diversity in our industry! #courageforchange #ReframeWomenInTech #DiversityInTech
