Accessing bereavement counselling is often inaccessible and unaffordable. Applicants to our counselling service are growing every week and now is when we need your support the most. Can you afford to give £30 a month to make a difference to someone who has lost a loved one to suicide? If you can, you'd make a world of difference to someone who is navigating suicide grief. Set up a direct debit to donate £30 for 12 months to support someone through a full package of counselling sessions (12 sessions = 1 package). Let's work together to open the conversation. Please share this with your networks. Click here to donate now https://lnkd.in/dwy9gTt #charityfundraising #metalhealth #charitysupport #bereavementsupport #suicideloss #support #charity #donate

"Why are events such as the Sector Summit so important?” We asked Harry Corin from Corin & Co that question last year, and he explained his thoughts on how and why events like this are vital in breaking down the stigma associated with suicide and suicide bereavement. If you'd like to be part of this change, why not come along to next year's summit on the 27th of February 2025, you can buy tickets here: https://hubs.li/Q02T2s-m0 Our agenda and speaker line-up will be announced in the coming months! Suicide&Co x The Grief Gang retreat at The Falcon, Castle Ashby 🌳 An unbelievable weekend just gone co-hosting this retreat with my friends over at Suicide&Co alongside some amazing practitioners such as Josh Dickson, MSc., SMMGP, EMDR (Acc.), FDAP (Acc.) & Lou Lebentz A huge thanks to The Falcon for hosting us and looking after us all impeccably! Where to even begin with this retreat. Over 25 individuals coming together, bereaved by suicide to find connection, understanding and resonance. It was quite astounding to witness the developing of the relationships from Friday throughout to Sunday. In the grand scheme of it all, it wasn’t that much time we spent together, however the journey we went on together was deeply profound. We spent the weekend taking plenty of walks round the stunning grounds (weather was on our side😍), eating every meal together, cold water swimming, sound baths, yoga sessions, reiki healing and delving deep into grief circles and trauma informed workshops. The weekend was packed with something for everyone. I think one of my favourite parts was that we manoeuvred as a group ensuring we all experienced the key parts of the retreat together! The vulnerability, pain and grief was of course palpable throughout the weekend. But so was hope. All people from different walks of life and loss coming together with a shared experience of suicide bereavement. I know for certain, bonds have been made for life and this experience will stay with us all forever 💜 Thank you to all who were involved in this retreat and allowing me into your lives and grief. My heart is incredibly full and I’m so looking forward to what the future holds with more retreats like this! Oh and Amelia Wrighton , you’re an absolute powerhouse and I am so lucky to call you my friend. I love doing epic stuff like this with you! #grief #retreat #griefretreat
