This week, Sunspel presented our Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Pitti Uomo in Florence. In 1955 the French Riviera inspired The Riviera Polo Shirt. Our Spring collection revisits the scenery and serenity of a season on the southern French coast. Our colour palette draws from the spring hues of the Riviera, ranging from serene blues to refreshing greens and earthy browns. The Spring collection celebrates our long history of fabric innovation and the natural qualities of cotton. A Sunspel Floral Feast. As a part of this year’s Chelsea in Bloom, we are showcasing a floral installation at our Duke of York Square store. At Sunspel, this is brought to life with a foraging-inspired banqueting table: a wild feast as an ode to British nature and its unexpected culinary delights. A floral centrepiece table created by Ferve Studio is a banqueting table covered in rolling green moss and adorned with a beautiful arrangement of foraged florals, including hawthorn, mallow, gorse, borage and elderflower. Silk scarf ‘napkins’ and fragments of silverware help evoke the scene of a wild feast in the English countryside while organically shaped pieces decorate the ground floor, spilling seamlessly outside onto the street.  The white Sunspel Classic T-shirt features in the window installation alongside botanical photography by London photographer Richard Round-Turner. Perfected in our factory for over 100 years, it represents purity, and British craftsmanship. Introducing Sunspel x Cheaney. With over 300 years of combined heritage, the collaboration consists of a Derby and a loafer which merge Cheaney’s classic British shoemaking with Sunspel’s dedication to everyday comfort. Both styles are unstructured, Goodyear welted and crafted from a supple suede that’s exceptionally soft to wear. They are handmade in Cheaney’s workshop in Northampton, less than 50 miles from Sunspel’s Long Eaton factory.   “At Cheaney, we are dedicated to handcrafting our premium leather shoes to produce the finest footwear in our own distinctive, refined style,” Cheaney’s Design Manager David Benbow says, “We actively promote the collaboration of strong British-made brands and we have always admired Sunspel. The fuse between quality and heritage is unquestionable in this partnership.”   Sunspel Creative Director David Telfer says, “It is a joy to celebrate the unique craft that British factories still have today. As soon as I walked into the Cheaney factory, I could see the care and skill that goes into their handcrafted shoes, and it reminded me of our own factory in Long Eaton. The collaboration combines Cheaney’s expertise with our heritage of comfort and soft fabrics. We are pleased to announce the launch of our third two-week pop-up at the iconic Isetan Shinjuku department store in Tokyo. With a rich heritage and longstanding dedication to quality, Isetan is an ideal partner for Sunspel.    The pop-up is a part of the Isetan department store's promotional event, The T-shirt, which showcases 'must-try' summer T-shirt brands. Discover our full range of luxury T-shirts, including the Sunspel Classic T-shirt , which we've been perfecting in our English factory for over a century, and two new stripes exclusive to Isetan.   Perfected since the early 1900s and crafted from the finest extra-long staple Supima cotton, which we select from a single Californian farm, this T-shirt is a symbol of quality and refinement.   The pop-up is open until 28th May.

After last season's sell-out style, Sunspel has worked again with Matt Hranek of the WM Brown Project to create more formal take on our Riviera Polo Shirt, designed to be worn under a jacket.    Crafted from lightweight, breathable Q75 Supima cotton mesh, the Riviera Polo Shirt was originally designed in the 1950s for the heat of the Riviera and tailored for Daniel Craig’s James Bond. This modified version features long sleeves, cuffs, and a cut-away standing collar, adding a touch of formality and sophistication.   “In my opinion, the Riviera Polo Shirt is the best short sleeve polo ever made,” Hranek says, “and a taller standing collar is a perfect summer addition. It presents better under a blazer, or a jacket and its versatility is bulletproof. It packs and unpacks really well and doesn’t wrinkle so it can substitute for proper shirting. What I’ve learnt since last year is that it washes and wears really well and it has just gotten better and better with wear. It’s one-stop shopping." Sunspel has returned to South Korea for a pop-up store in Beaker, Seoul.   The pop-up, which is open until the 23rd of April, offers an exclusive chance to explore Sunspel’s full range of luxury T-shirts, including the Made-in-England Classic T-shirt, as well the recent Sunspel x Nigel Cabourn collaboration.

British luxury brand Sunspel is continuing its retail expansion in the US with a new store opening in sunny Los Angeles.

We're excited to announce the opening of our first Los Angeles store. Following the success of our first West Coast boutique in Marin, San Francisco in November 2023, our new store in Silver Lake, LA, marks the next milestone in our US expansion.
