About us
A Grassroots organisation based in Nottinghamshire run by Anna and Manisha – both Minority Ethnic mothers who work with parents to offer emotional and practical support from pregnancy and beyond. We believe all families, whatever their background, should get access to evidence-based information and non-judgemental support – throughout pregnancy, birth and parenting. We have both had first-hand experience of navigating the maternity system whilst also holding onto our cultural identity and knowing the challenges that come with it. We offer support to parents throughout the UK, which includes postnatal and breastfeeding groups, 1:1 support, workshops and an online community. We listen, guide, educate and mentor parents so they can feel confident and make the right choices for themselves and their families, whilst also considering their cultural background.

Baby Loss Awareness Week | 9-15 October 🌸 This week, we honor the memory of the babies lost too soon and offer our love and support to the families who carry this invisible weight every day. 💔 Every family’s journey through loss is unique, and for many, healing is deeply intertwined with cultural beliefs, practices, and support systems. 🕯️🌍 In times of profound grief, culturally aligned care can provide comfort and understanding that is essential for healing. It allows families to mourn and find solace in ways that resonate with their traditions and values. Whether it's through rituals, language, or community support, culturally sensitive care ensures that no one walks this difficult path alone. Let’s continue to support one another and create spaces where every family feels seen, heard, and understood—no matter their background or beliefs. Go to Sands - baby loss charity to find out how to get involved. To all those affected by baby loss, we see you, we honor your grief, and we stand with you. 💙💗 Here are the links when you can look for support: Zephyr's Nottingham Sands - baby loss charity Willow's Rainbow Box ABIGAIL'S FOOTSTEPS 4Louis CuddleCot ~Sylwia #BabyLossAwareness #CulturallyAlignedCare #SupportAndHealing #BreakTheSilence
