It’s nearly 10 years since TalkTalk was hit by a cyber-attack through its website. The devastation cost the telecommunications company an estimated £77 million in direct and indirect costs. Cybercriminals target small businesses in Wales through their websites too, so we have six suggestions for enhancing the safety of your website. Another idea is to have everything checked through our affordable First Step Web Assessment (FSWA). And there’s a bonus for charities in Wales as the WCRC and its partners are offering fully funded access to the service and there’s no complicated paperwork involved! 👏 Exciting News! We are delighted to announce that Adenydd has been awarded funding through the Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund! 🌸 This grant will support Calon y Gymuned, a welcoming, safe space where individuals can gather, socialise, and take part in positive activities and learning opportunities. Our aim is to strengthen community connections and provide vital support for those navigating the challenges of developmental trauma. 💫 We are incredibly grateful to RWE and the Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund for their commitment to empowering local communities. What an incredible year for Swansea! Over the past 12 months, we’ve donated over half a million brand-new essential items to those in need, across City & County of Swansea Swansea Council for Voluntary Service (SwanseaCVS) and we’re ready to grow our reach even further to support thousands more. While we wish our services weren’t needed, we take immense pride in the care and compassion we provide. It’s never just about toothpaste or jumpers—it’s about helping children smile, stay warm, be nourished, and find hope. Together, we’re transforming lives and making a lasting difference in our community. 🚀 A HUGE Moment for Cwtch Mawr Multibank! 🎉 In just ONE year, Cwtch Mawr has gone from an idea to a lifeline—supporting 33,540 families, delivering an incredible 549,000 essential items, and working with 108 charity partners alongside hundreds of volunteers. And now, we are honoured to receive a powerful message of congratulations from former Prime Minister and Multibank UK co-founder, Gordon Brown! 🙌 His words remind us that prosperity is strongest when it is shared. That hope, care, and community can transform lives. That when the strong support the vulnerable, we all become stronger. 🎥 Watch his inspiring message and celebrate this milestone with us! Together, we’re building a future where no family is left behind. #CwtchMawr #FaithInFamilies #MultibankUK #TogetherWeAreStronger Cherrie Bija Jonathan Waite
