Today marks 35 incredible years of SWR! Since 1989, we have proudly provided top-notch solutions, from wire rope assemblies to home improvement products, and it's all thanks to our amazing team (past and present), loyal customers, and dedicated partners. Massive congratulations to Jason Lee & co. for completing an incredible 115 mile cycle from Hemel Hempstead to Stonehenge!! Not only did they conquer the distance in a day, but they also raised over £2500 in total for a great cause - The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted 💚💜 Thank you to everyone that has shared, supported and donated. Tomorrow marks the first day of the Olympics, and we couldn't be more excited! At SWR, we have our own team of athletes who not only compete in sports like cycling and football but also participate in fundraising events. SWR is full of champions, and we are thrilled to watch Team GB perform. Just under 4 years ago Great Britain won 22 gold medals in Tokyo. Do you think we will beat that this year? We think they'll bring home 25 gold medals, as they continue to improve as a team each year! Today is National Professional Wellness Day. At SWR, the wellness of our staff is at the heart of everything we do. Here are a few of the ways we prioritise our employees wellness: ☑️ We have 4 mental health first aiders, 5 first aiders and 8 fire marshalls. ☑️ Flu vaccinations for anyone who wants to receive it. ☑️ Mental health awareness sessions for everyone. ☑️ Corporate gym memberships. ☑️ Everyone at SWR has access to the Health Assured app. This offers services such as therapy, mindfulness and trauma management. ☑️All employees have access to Bonusly, an app designed for showing appreciation among colleagues. People can create posts highlighting something their co-worker did that deserves recognition. These posts can be awarded points, which can then be redeemed for vouchers! #WorkplaceWellness #StressManagement #EmployeeWellbeing
