The week of a Budget or Autumn Statement can be a busy one for PR teams. Thanks to NG Chartered Surveyors for inviting me to yesterday's event exploring how businesses can nurture and support young talent. One of our core values at Tank is that we give people the room to evolve into what they want, and preparing for yesterday’s event was a good opportunity to reflect on my own experiences. I joined Tank back in 2019 as an account executive. I was 24 and certainly had no idea that I’d find my niche in software and tech! Since then the business has more than doubled in size and I’ve had the opportunity to work with not only fantastic clients, but also a senior team that is committed to investing in our personal development. It's also great to see younger members of the team progressing. Notably Imogen Birkett, who I've worked closely with since she joined us following a stint of work experience back in 2022 ✨✨.

Last week I enjoyed an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience at Nottingham Forest, scoping out the ✨newly renovated ✨ corporate spaces and offerings for Warbox, Tank, and our clients. We had a brilliant guided tour of The City Ground and club museum, and had the opportunity to catch up with other attendees over a couple of drinks, pitch-side!
